Asbjørn has worked with research-based business for over 20 years. Before Asbjørn came to Norinnova in 2010 he was part of the Nordic market management in the pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca. Asbjørn has extensive experience in marketing, development of sales organizations and effective innovation environments. He previously led the business cluster Biotech North and has board experience from a number of growth companies, business clusters, innovation companies and investment funds. Asbjørn has experience from aquaculture, the health industry, the commercialization of research as well as the development and financing of young growth companies.
Wenche studied computer science at UiO and has a master’s degree in systems development. She worked in entrepreneurial companies for 6 years before she started working in the innovation environment around UNN and UiT in 1997. She has since worked in various roles in management, commercialization and innovation projects, and has worked for 20 years with innovation projects in the health sector through the Innomed program, especially with IT and service development.
Magne is a qualified auditor from Bodø University College. He is a certified accountant and has expertise in accounting, tax and VAT. Magne has worked at Norinnova since 2004, and has many years of experience from auditing firms and has performed accounting for many different companies.
Elisabeth holds an M.Sc in Molecular Biotechnology and is currently pursuing an MBA in Strategy and Management. She has several years of experience in the private sector, including as product manager at ArcticZymes AS. Elisabeth has experience in business strategy, project management and fundraising (private and public), and her portfolio mainly includes projects within healthcare, pharmaceuticals and aquaculture.
Ann Kristin holds a Bachelor of Business (Marketing) from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology and a Master’s degree in Marine Business Management from the Norwegian School of Fishery Science/UiT. She has extensive experience from the financial sector and the IT industry, where she has worked in both private and public sector. The focus areas have been fisheries and aquaculture, welfare technology and digitalization. Ann Kristin is passionate about sustainable innovation and Northern Norwegian business.
Eirik has a master’s degree from NTNU in industrial economics and technology management. After his studies, he worked for 4 years developing a technology startup in the UK, where he was co-founder. He was part of the core team that developed a new product from the idea stage, through development and launch, to growth and scaling. He also has experience in raising capital, user analysis, product development, supplier relations and business modeling.
Ellen has a master’s degree in management, innovation and marketing. She has experience from media agencies, the consulting industry and has formal training in project management. At Norinnova, Ellen is responsible for partnership and sales and is motivated by Norinnova’s customers achieving good results and sustainable collaboration.
Tiril is currently completing a master’s degree in fisheries and aquaculture science at the Norwegian College of Fishery Sience. She has a strong interest in the field of communication and has extensive experience with social media and event management, including from when she was a trainee in the communications department at the Norwegian Seafood Council.
Tiril is employed by Norinnova, but her main task is to ensure that everyone who uses Tromsø Science Park experiences added value, and that the park is a good place to be.
Therese holds an Executive Master of Management from BI Norwegian Business School and a Bachelor in International Marketing and Management from the Norwegian School of Marketing. She has many years of experience from private industry and entrepreneurship. At Norinnova, she works with branding, project management, communication and marketing. Communication, strategy and reputation are key words for what Therese is committed to.
Benedicte holds a Master’s degree in Marine Biotechnology with a specialization in genetic engineering and several years of experience as a research assistant at UiT. She also has experience in economics and management from NTNU, as well as establishing collaborative projects with private industry and working in various research groups. With a strong interest in innovation and sustainable development, she is motivated by opportunities that combine research, technology, and value creation.
Alice holds an industrial PhD in Biotechnology and has a background from both academia and industry. She has worked with value chain development, regulatory processes, patenting, and market access, and has been involved in the development of biomarine functional ingredients – from the start-up phase all the way to industrial scale. At Norinnova, she assists researchers and companies in identifying, developing, and facilitating the commercialization of research-based innovations.
Håkon holds a double Master’s degree from Nord University and the Moscow State Institute of Foreign Relations in International Relations and International Management.
After his studies, he worked for 2.5 years with the start-up and development of a startup in Molde, where he was a project manager. He was part of the core team that developed new software for reporting on the EU’s sustainability directive. He also has experience in proptech, construction and property development, sales, marketing, international collaborations, and energy management.
Fisheries graduate with specialization in marine biotechnology. Magnus has over 20 years of experience as a business developer, both in technology transfer, banking and start-ups. He is both energetic and solution-oriented with a heart that is passionate about Northern Norway.
Ingrid has studied Biotechnology and has a PhD in Immunology. She has several years of private sector experience in early phase commercialization of medical devices and Market Surveillance under ISO 13485. At Norinnova, Ingrid has worked both in the incubator advising start-ups and in TTO where the project portfolio includes med. tech, aquaculture and medical software.
Bronwyn has a background in several research areas, including medical research, chemistry and a PhD in plant biotechnology. She also has industry experience and is skilled in application writing and administration. Bronwyn’s portfolio at Norinnova includes life sciences, chemistry, pharma and optics, and she is always open to discussing new ideas and technologies.
Hedda has a master’s degree in management, innovation and marketing from UiT. She has previously worked with marketing, social media, and project coordination of conferences and festivals. At Norinnova, she is the project manager for our inititaive towards young entrepreneurs, which includes Student IX and Arctic Ignite. She is keen to make Northern Norway an attractive place for young people to live through opportunities to develop their own ideas and companies.
Morten holds a PhD in genetic engineering from the University of Tromsø. He has over 15 years of experience from the biotech industry as a researcher, development manager and business developer. Morten has broad technological and market experience within enzyme technology, diagnostics and life science. At Norinnova, he works mainly with biotechnology, pharmaceutical and enzyme projects.
Mayank has a master’s degree in computer science at UiT, and has several years of experience working in artificial intelligence and microscopy. He has worked in research groups and the start-up environment in Tromsø while studying, which has given him a unique insight into the landscape Norinnova operates in. At Norinnova, he mainly works with artificial intelligence, microscopy and software-based projects.
Olle has a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Entrepreneurship from BI Norwegian Business School in Oslo. He has founded multiple companies and worked as a startup and growth expert at DNB for 6 years. His focus is on lean startup and growth, and is responsible for Norinnova’s Scale Up program
Lars has extensive experience in finance, manufacturing and supply chains at startups. He has an MBA with a focus on entrepreneurship and has worked for four years as a research assistant focusing on Norwegian research-based startups.
Unn has studied biotechnology and holds a PhD in fish immunology from UiT The Arctic University of Norway, and has worked at Norinnova since 2006. She has 30 years of experience as head of the Fish Health Lab at the Aquaculture Station in Tromsø, researcher at Nofima, head of the MABIT program and business developer at Norinnova. Since 2017, Unn has been the administrative manager of the Tromsø Research Foundation.
Line is a fisheries graduate from the Norwegian School of Fishery Science/UiT. She has extensive experience in the ocean and seafood industries, both in the ministry, export companies and in marketing. For 6 years she was responsible for the Norwegian Seafood Council’s office in Sweden. At Norinnova, she is the cluster manager for Biotech North, as well as contributing to Norinnova’s growth programs for startups. Project management, strategy, branding and circular economy are some of the keywords that Line is particularly interested in.
Ida is studying economics and business administration at the School of Business and Economics at UiT, and has experience in marketing and event planning from previous projects.
With us, Ida works as an innovation ambassador where she tries to promote a culture of innovation among students at UiT.
Elias holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business Administration and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Business Administration (sivøk) at the School of Business and Economics at UiT. He has experience as a founder of an early-stage biotech company through Marine Spark X, where he gained experience in development from the idea stage, research projects between various stakeholders, market analysis, and fundraising.
