As a service in collaboration with UiT, we therefore assist in the work of developing a business plan and offer free guidance to projects that wish to apply.

What can you apply for funding for?

The support from STUD-ENT will be used to realize the business idea or carry out critical activities that reduce technology and concept risk.

Costs that can be covered include technical equipment, travel, consultancy services, technical assistance and salaries.

Requirements for applications

  • The team’s project manager is a recent graduate or in training:
    • Master’s level: Deliver the thesis before the start of the project
    • Professional education level: Completed at least four years prior to project start
    • PhD level: Confirmation from the institution that the STUD-ENT project can be carried out in parallel with the program
  • The business idea must be based on knowledge acquired through studies, be innovative and be based on a competitive advantage
  • There are no industry requirements and students from all fields of study can apply
