We have good experience from previous application rounds, and companies such as Medsensio, Keenious and Pazzing started their journey with millions in funding from the Research Council of Norway. In collaboration with UiT, we can now assist in the work of developing a business plan and offer free guidance to projects that want to apply. It is time-consuming to prepare a STUD-ENT application of high enough quality to be successful, so it is important that you get in touch early!

What can you apply for funding for?

The support from STUD-ENT will be used to realize the business idea or carry out critical activities that reduce technology and concept risk.

Costs that can be covered include technical equipment, travel, consultancy services, technical assistance and salaries.

Requirements for applications

  • The team’s project manager is a recent graduate or in training:
    • Master’s level: Deliver the thesis before the start of the project
    • Professional education level: Completed maximum four years prior to project start
    • PhD level: Confirmation from institution that STUD-ENT project can be carried out in parallel with the program
  • The business idea must be based on knowledge acquired through studies, be innovative and be based on a competitive advantage
  • There are no industry requirements and students from all fields of study can apply
